Store clean masks in a labelled pouch (can be a pencil case, clear reusable ziplock, or even the thin, portable baby wipes case) that can be placed in student’s school bag - should be labelled with student’s name and “clean”

Have an extra pouch to store dirty masks in case of mask change. Label it “dirty” as well as with student’s name.

Pack extra hair ties for long hair

Pack an extra change of clothes

Make sure all school supplies are properly labelled (even caps on markers)

Every student should have their own labelled water bottle

Practice wearing masks at home for extended periods of time (i.e.: wear masks at home during everyday activities such as watching TV)

Practice personal hygiene routines at home such as handwashing (e.g. pick a song such as happy birthday, the wheels on the bus and practice washing your hands while singing it)

Review school specific procedures and talk to students about what a return to school will look like
